Terms of Business & Machinery Supply

1. Commercial Scope & Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern the quotation, manufacturing, supply, and export of leather goods processing machinery by MAB Trading Co. (Howrah, West Bengal, India) to industrial buyers, ateliers, and international distributors worldwide. By requesting a quotation or issuing a purchase order, the customer accepts these standard terms.

2. Quotations & Technical Specifications

• All formal proforma invoices and quotations issued by MAB Trading Co. are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise.
• Machine specifications, electrical voltage ratings (e.g., 220V 1-Phase / 380V–415V 3-Phase), roller widths, heating capacities, and motor power are specified in the official machine datasheet.
• Custom engineering modifications (such as specialized embossing cylinder dies or custom roller profiles) must be approved in writing prior to factory production commencement.

3. Manufacturing & Quality Inspection

Every machine is fabricated, assembled, and dynamically balanced at our dedicated manufacturing facility in Howrah, India. Prior to dispatch, each unit undergoes a mandatory forty-eight (48) hour continuous run-test under standard electrical and mechanical load to ensure absolute operational reliability.

4. Packaging, Export & Dispatch

• Packaging Standard: All export machinery is secured in fumigated, moisture-sealed, heavy-duty wooden crates compliant with international ISPM-15 phytosanitary standards.
• Shipping Terms: Shipments are dispatched FOB Kolkata Port / CCU International Airport or CIF destination port according to the agreed Incoterms stated on the commercial invoice.
• Transit Insurance: Marine/Air transit insurance is included under CIF contracts or must be arranged by the buyer under FOB contracts prior to container loading.

5. Payment Terms & Commercial Milestones

Standard export orders require an initial advance deposit upon order confirmation to allocate raw materials and commence precision machining, with the remaining balance due upon completion of factory testing and prior to shipment release.

6. Warranty & Technical Support

• MAB Trading Co. provides a twelve (12) month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in structural frameworks, dynamic shafts, and primary motor assemblies from the date of bill of lading.
• Consumable components (such as heating elements, burnishing belts, buffing papers, and standard wear items) are excluded from structural warranty.
• Factory-direct remote technician support, video commissioning guidance, and replacement tooling/spares are available directly from our engineering team throughout the operational lifecycle of the machine.

7. Intellectual Property

All machinery designs, engineering blueprints, CAD files, trademarks, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of MAB Trading Co. Unauthorized replication or reverse-engineering of MAB mechanical architectures is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising under commercial contracts or international supply agreements shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata / Howrah, West Bengal.
